The Colorado Advanced Photonics Technology Center (CAPT Center) provides access to a wide range of state of the art metrology and fabrication equipment.  Example include: atomic force microscope, optical profilometer, stylus profilometer, spectrophotometer, interferometer, and many more.  Of particular importance to Vescent, the CAPT center is where our company began with a rented optics table and a room full of top notch equipment.  As a corporate member of CAPT we regularly utilize this resource.

The Liquid Crystal Material Research Center (LCMRC),  located at the University of Colorado in Boulder, is an interdisplinary research group dedicated to the understanding and development of liquid crystal.  Vescent Photonics has been privileged to collaborate with the laboratories of Dave Walba (a center member) on the development of novel LC materials. Dr. Davis, the VP of Technology at Vescent, is honored to serve on the centers technical advisory board.

JILA is joint institute between the University of Colorado and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).  JILA is home to three recent Nobel Laureats and some of the best atomic, molecular, and optical science.  Two of Vescent's founders and one of our staff scientists are proud to call JILA our scientific alma mater.

The Colorado Photonics Industry Association (CPIA) is a not for profit organization dedicated to the promotion and growth of the photonics industry, both within and outside the state of Colorado.
